This project will hire a bus and driver to visit four different locations around Dorset during Carers Week which also coincides with the Queen's Jubilee week. The aim will be to celebrate the important contribution unpaid carers make to the community and build awareness of the support Carer Support Dorset can offer to unpaid carers. The Carer Support Dorset team will be available to provide confidential information advice and guidance to unpaid carers from the bus. They will partner with the Arts Development Company to engage local artists who will lead interactive workshops for attendees inside the village halls. Unpaid carers will get involved by creating decorative bunting that will adorn the bus and there will be three themes.
