This funding will be used to support a community affected by Covid by continuing to offer food and support and continue to reach over 500 families a week and to launch a new youth project to improve mental health and wellbeing and increase social connection and community cohesion. It will establish a new weekly Diverse Scouts groups to provide two weekly after-school sessions for culturally diverse groups of children. Activities will include arts and crafts cooking music outdoor activities and guest speakers.

Online sessions supporting a group of 7 disabled adults to produce a creative response to the lockdown and its impact on disabled people.

We would use the combined skills of music artists (rappers) and youth workers experienced in exploitation to explore the key issues related to the themes of consent, and healthy relationships.

This project will provide arts and creative workshops for children and young people living in families on low incomes. Children and young people will improve their mental health, be confident in their creativity and get on better with others.

Ark-T have established a high impact food poverty partnership with both Waste2Taste and Oxford COmmunity Action since the start pf the pandemic. Ensure that those most adversely impacted by the pandemic and ensuing economic hardship incurred by the rising levels of unemployment can be supported with food relief via healthy home-cooked meals and emergency food parcels.

COVID19 - This grant will fund staff training, IT software and resource packs for disadvantaged children and young people affected by family breakdown and isolated at home due to Covid-19. Young people will develop more resilience.

Coronavirus - Emergency Fund - Organisational sustainability

Food distribution - Ark-T had opened up a community larder in partnership with SOFEA and Oxford Together to ensure that those who were struggling to get food as a result of stockpiling could access food quickly.

The grant is towards undertaking an 18 month in-depth impact measurement project of their adult mental health services and co-creating a theory of change.

Ark-T has been piloting a 'self-care retreat for teenage girls' over the past year. Each retreat has been oversubscribed; we need further staffing to run these retreats with further capacity during school holidays in 2019. The retreats range from 1 day to 5 days. The demand for the retreats has been overwhelming with waiting lists. This is an innovative programme for Oxfordshire and nationally, championing the idea that 'self-care' doesn't need to be exclusively for the more affluent demographic. Women of all ages benefit from self-care, especially teenage girls facing socio-economic and mental health challenges. Self-care retreats have included; yoga, meditation, mindfulness, self expression through art, sound portraits, healthy eating/nutrition, outdoor activities such as sensory walks, nature based therapeutic interventions. Ark-T also runs 'HerSpace' an afterschool term-time club for 12 to 18 year old teenage girls, this is oversubscribed and understaffed. Funding for HerSpace from The Wates Foundation ends in June 2019, we are seeking alternative funding for 2019. HerSpace workshop participants develop practical art and design skills which could lead to employment opportunities, build arts and social leadership skills, project management, communication skills, time-management skills and learn about physical and nutritional health creatively.

A creative learning charity, specialising in creative interventions, events and public art which have strong personal and social impact. Work has 3 core objectives for the people who use our service: 1. Improved mental health 2. Developed leadership skills 3. Improved relationship and communication skills.

The Ark T Centre harnesses the powers of Creativity and Human Connection to change lives, and the world. We design specialist arts interventions that respond to complex social problems.

Support the Young Oxford Creatives to form and establish themselves with the specific aim of designing, leading and evaluating ROAR, the first youth arts disability festival held in Oxford
