The funding will be used to expand the group’s current activities of delivering food boxes toiletries and hampers by creating a team of carers to tackle isolation in the community and acting as befrienders to old and vulnerable people locally. The project aims to reduce isolation while increasing wellbeing and mental health by carers taking on individual members of the community and becoming a regular contact keeping in touch via phone daily and making regular visits.

A participant coordination group leads and shapes the project, which enables survivors of abuse to share their experiences and support one another.
