This new project aims to support women and young people in families suffering domestic violence within the Kurdish, Turkish, and Turkish Cypriot communities in Hackney and Haringey. It aims to reduce the isolation and shame felt by women and raise their self esteem and confidence through education. In order to improve the provision of services provided by statutory bodies and VCS groups, the project will raise awareness of cultural and communication barriers faced.
