This is a new project by Disability and Deaf Arts in Liverpool (DaDa). The project will offer skills development, training and qualifications to disabled people aged 14-30. The project will provide a leadership programme, run by young people, peer mentoring sessions as well as access to grants and opportunities to shadow professionals for those wanting to develop their business skills within the arts. It is hoped that the project will help to prepare beneficiaries for work and develop their career goals.

This new project will deliver a live arts and progressive performance programme for disabled and deaf young people aged 13-19 in Merseyside. It will aim to break down the barriers experienced by this group and provide them with training, development and an opportunity to learn and develop new skills. Activities will include weekly workshops, rehearsal and development sessions delivered by disabled/deaf arts practitioners, and two one-week residential sessions culminating in showcasing performances.
