This project will deliver 80 sport and exercise sessions over 40 weeks, aimed at those with mental health distress across Tower Hamlets, Newham, and Redbridge. Sessions will consist of two 1.5-hour sessions a week in 8-week blocks, targeting 10-15 people per sessions. Together with MIND this will be followed by 30 minutes of either mindfulness or nutritional advice. The aim is to reach up to 150 participants.

This new project will support adults with mental health needs in Tower Hamlets, helping them to improve their confidence, independence and life skills through a range of positive activities. Clients will be assessed and offered a key worker to support them as well as an employment and volunteering officer. Activities include volunteering, CV writing and interview skills training, courses in ICT and money management. There will also be complementary therapy sessions including Tai Chi, massage and yoga.
