    Objectives

    The organisation's purposes are: The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through offering services to anyone whom has been 'Touched by Suicide'. In furtherance of these charitable purposes, we will: provide emotional and practical support is offered in a number of different ways including a confidential telephone helpline, support information, help via e-mail, group and network issues to allow individuals to connect with others experiencing the same feelings and information relating to practical issues and problems provide a safe, confidential environment where bereaved people can share their experiences, express their feelings, giving and gaining support from and too each other. These are carried out meet the needs and help overcome the isolation experienced by people who have been bereaved by suicide. By accessing our services, we want people to know that they are not alone and that there are many places they can go to for support in order to break the stigma and isolation attached to suicide . Provide self-help services which are free of charge and our compassionate facilitators have all been bereaved by suicide themselves, so individuals will be guaranteed the sensitive and understanding support that they require at such a difficult and often lonely time. Provide services which can be accessed as often and for as long as people need them. It doesn't matter how much time has passed since the bereavement happened or what their relationship was with the person who died.
