4. The main aim of our organisation is to reduce social inequalities and improve peoples’ life chances in Scotland and Zimbabwe. This is achieved through the following objectives. a. To encourage active participation and community involvement as a way of reducing social exclusion. b. To facilitate a friendly and open minded environment that fosters cultural exchanges as a way of promoting an appreciation and understanding of many diverse cultures in Scotland. c. To actively promote health and well-being through sports and recreational activities particularly amongst those that do not normally engage in these activities. d. To support our members to get access to services. e. To identify and help solve problems that affects our members as well as acting as a social support group for Zimbabweans living in Scotland. f. To work in partnership with other organisations that work towards alleviation and eradication of poverty particularly in Scotland and Zimbabwe g. Providing advisory services to the Scottish Government and to Scottish charities, groups and individuals with interest on Zimbabwe. h. Organizing social events for Zimbabweans in Scotland and for other interested parties
