Objectives

4. The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 the advancement of education: we will achieve this by working with young people, statuary and third sector partners to provide informal learning and accredited programmes such as Youth Achievement Awards, Duke of Edinburgh and Modern Apprenticeship opportunities for young people aged 5-18yrs 4.2 the advancement of citizenship or community development: we will provide informal learning at all of structured youth led sessions which will include outward bound programmes, youth clubs and holiday programmes. 4.3 the provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended- we will achieve this by providing opportunities for children, young people and families we work with in some of the most deprived communities in the East End of Glasgow. We will offer a wide range of physical, arts and cultural programmes within local centres and to other facilities to ensure barrier free, affordable access for local communities attending our programmes.
