    The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The public participation in the sport of Rugby Union Football, hereinafter referred to as the 'sport' and in furtherance thereof: 4.2 The organisation, management and development of Rugby Union Football for all members of the Club 4.3 Membership of appropriate leagues for the purpose of establishing regular competitive play for the club's representative teams as appropriate. 4.4 The provision of training and playing facilities for its members. The Club's playing ground shall be in Brechin, as far as is reasonably practicable, depending on the pitch and lighting requirements for the safety of players, or limitations of the competition under which the match is being played 4.5 Promoting and maintaining the highest standards of technical competence and safety in the sport 4.6 Upholding the rules of the sport. 4.7 Providing equal opportunities for successful participation by all sections of the community 4.8 The promotion of the sport.
