    Objectives

To coordinate and deliver health and safety awareness workshops in Glasgow, with particular emphasis on ethnic minority groups, who have little or no understanding of basic health and safety awareness. this will advance their education on health & safety. The promotion of various UK annual nominated safety week community campaigns in Glasgow, raising awareness of home safety week, fire safety week, road safety week, child safety week etc. again particular emphasis will be on ethnic minority groups recently settled in Glasgow . this is due to their lack of awareness of basic health & safety, primarily due to the language barrier and the cultural emphasis on health & safety within Scotland, that isn't recognised as being as important within their home countries. also many are used to living within a rural rather than urban environment. To organise and deliver various community, recreational and leisure programmes throughout the year for our members, with the aim of countering social isolation and promoting integration. Through delivering this object we will promote equality and diversity as we will provide our members with the opportunity to become more engaged in their local community, countering social isolation and promoting integration. we envisage our members will be from different cultures and religions.
