    Objectives

    4 The organisation’s purposes are: 4.1 For provisions of recreational facilities in the interest of welfare, support, assistance and education for anyone living in Scotland, and in particular but not exclusively, Thai people, their families and Buddhists to access and use our organisational facilities as required. 4.2 To advance religion through the provision of facilities for religious worship, observance and education for the beneficiaries. and 4.3 To advance education and Thai cultural knowledge through structured and approved syllabuses. and 4.4 To promote racial harmony, foster cultural and religious tolerance and understanding between the beneficiaries and others and to work towards the elimination of prejudice and discrimination against the beneficiaries, thereby enabling them to participate fully in the social, economic and civic lift of the community. and 4.5 To aid the people of Thailand during times of great need or natural disaster when called upon to do so by the Government of Thailand or other charitable organisations with the same aims.
