Objectives

The objects for which the Company is established are: a) To promote, maintain, improve and advance public education by the encouragement of the arts, particularly by the promotion of dramatic and other arts including dance, drama, music, visual arts, crafts, burlesque, film and photography, plastic arts, graphics and design, mime, dramatic improvisation, ballet, sculpture and literature and to formulate, prepare and establish schemes therefor, provided that all objects of the Company shall be of a charitable nature. b) In the interests of social welfare, to provide or assist in the provisron of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the persons for whom such facilities are primarily intended being persons who have need for such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances provided that nevertheless such facilities shall be available to the members of the public at large.
