    Objectives

Centre Hospital Radio has been formed for the express purpose of providing voluntary Hospital Broadcasting Service programmes by means of Post Office land-lines to hospitals who wish to receive our service. Programme material will be provided free to those hospitals which receive our service. the cost of such programmes including expenses, studio equipment, engineering , admistration and any other costs being met by the ministrations of the membership personally and through the organisation of fund raising events, by the membership, for the sole support of Centre Hospital Radio. The type of programme material will be dictated by the wishes of the patients of the hospitals served. This will be ensured by the formation of a core of members who will visit the patients of the hospitals individually at least once per week to gather views, ask for special requests including records and provide an additional source of companionship. Listeners should receive information on the service through the visiting members and the issue of a broadcasting news-sheet at least once each programme schedule.
