    Objectives

    1.1 The saving of lives. In furtherance of the above purpose the organisation will aim: 1.2 To go to the assistance of anyone lost or injured on the hills of Arran. 1.3 To encourage greater proficiency in the skills of mountaineering among those going into the hills, and to promote greater awareness of the risks involved in hill-walking and rock climbing, thereby helping to reduce the number of accidents in the hills.
