THE OBJECTS WHICH THE SOCIETY IS ESTABLISHED ARE:- (A) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN HISTORY AND INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY BY SECURING FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE PROTECTION, CONSERVATION, MAINTENANCE AND USE OF INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS, PLANTS AND MONUMENTS OF HISTORICAL OR ARCHAEOLOGICAL IMPORTANCE AND BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE STUDY OF AND RESEARCH INTO HISTORY AND INDUSTRIAL ARCHAEOLOGY.
