    1.THE RELIF OF SICKNESS BY THE PROVISION OF AMENITIES FOR PATIENTS OF MANCHESTER ROYAL INFIRMARY RENAL UNIT RELATIVE RESPECTIVELY TO THE TREATMENT GIVEN AND THE TREATMENT RECEIVED BY THE AFOREMENTIONED PATIENTS IN RESPECT OF KIDNEY COMPLAINTS AND DISORDERS; (2) TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR PATIENTS OF THE MANCHESTER ROYAL INFIRMARY RENAL UNIT AND TO MEET EXPENSES INCURRED RELATIVE TO THE TREATMENT OF KIDNEY COMPLAINTS AND DISORDERS; (3) TO UNDERTAKE, PROMOTE, DEVELOP AND ENCOURAGE RESEARCH OF THE KIDNEY AND URINARY TRACT AND RESEARCH INTO TREATMENT OF SUCH DISEASES AND TO PUBLISH THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF; (4) TO UNDERTAKE, PROMOTE AND DEVELOP TREATMENT OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM DISEASES OF THE KIDNEY AND URINARY TRACT; (5) TO EDUCATE THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN DISEASES OF THE KIDNEY AND URINARY TRACT.
