WIMBLEDON AND PUTNEY COMMONS CONSERVATORS 

The land under the jurisdiction of the Conservators is administered by the Conservators with a view to its preservation as an open space for the purposes of exercise and recreation. This is the principal object set out in the Wimbledon and Putney Commons Act 1871. It includes the management of the land and its flora and fauna.
