Objectives

The objects for which the Charity is established are for the public benefit to assist, promote and further, primarily but not exclusively in the Diocese of York (hereinafter called the Diocese), the work and purposes of the Church of England and to that end to be the Diocesan Board of Finance within the meaning of the Diocesan Boards of Finance Measure 1925 for the Diocese whatever may for the time being be the area thereof and to act as the Committee of the Diocesan Synod of the Diocese.
