(2) TO PROMOTE EDUCATION AND RESEARCH IN THE SUBJECT OF RAPE AND ITS EFFECTS ON THE VICTIM, WHETHER PHYSICAL, MEDICAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, OR SOCIAL AND TO TRAIN WOMEN AS COUNSELLORS SO AS TO BE ABLE TO COPE WITH THE PROBLEMS OF RAPE VICTIMS BY THE PROVISION OF MEDICAL, LEGAL AND EMOTIONAL COUNSELLING.
