MOORLANDS VOLUNTARY AND COMMUNITY TRANSPORT

We provide voluntary and community transport to those in need across the Staffordshire Moorlands. We use volunteer drivers who use their own cars to take people to primarily health related appointments, and community transport minibuses to provide transport for local voluntary and community groups.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government and there are significant future grants due to be received
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • Although this charity works with volunteers it does not have a Volunteer Management policy

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
