The gym sessions will open up socialisation and exercise opportunities to women over 50 to improve the health and quality of their lives. Sessions and activities will be delivered from the Women’s centre 4 days a week based in the Halliwell ward of Bolton. Changing Life Directions (CLD) helps women in Bolton to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. CLD identified the need for culturally tailored support to tackle health and wellbeing in black and minoritised communities in the town. From the women’s centre on Halliwell Road they provide a range of activities and sessions that contributes to better physical mental emotional wellbeing.
