By the end of the project: 30- 40 Mums will attend a 12-week Well-Being course 35 Mums will access Home-Start family outings with their children during school holidays. 30 - 40 Mums will learn strategies for managing anxiety/stress in the form of relaxation and creative activities. 30 - 40 Mums will establish a network of support via the group utilising a social media group 30 - 40 Mums will move on to attend a weekly 'Follow on' group facilitated by the local Essex Child & Family Wellbeing Service hub. During the previous year the WBG has achieved the following improvements: Physical health improved by 34% Mental health and Wellbeing - 52% Isolation - 78% Self-esteem - 135% Access to local services - 70%. We expect to achieve the following outcomes: 3 WBGs across the Harlow District incl. 60 talking therapy hours and 3 family outings or parties will demonstrate: 55% improvement of emotional wellbeing 75% reduction in isolation 85% improvement in self-esteem 65% increase in accessing community services/activities 35% increased physical activity Long-term impacts Mums will have: Formed friendships and are able to access community support services with a network of support. An increased knowledge of community support and how to access it. Achieved new learnt skills, discovered interests and coping strategies to build their capacity to better manage their mental health. Make positive changes to their physical health and wellbeing. Better relationships within the family. An increased ability to cope well with the everyday challenges of family life and ongoing life events.
