This project will celebrate the Jubilee by running a project that will allow women and young girls to share skills and deliver a reuse of textile project. People will bring unwanted clothes set for landfill and on a weekly basis will share skills and knowledge of how to reuse and recycle these unwanted clothes into crafts through sewing sessions. They will work with an textile artist and in the sessions they will learn practical and creative skills to mend clothes reduce textile waste and prevent clothes going to the landfill. They will also make a hat for the Queen out of the items for the Jubilee. There will be a catwalk showcase on Saturday 4th June and the event will have a day of crafts music and food to bring the community together to celebrate.

The project aims to build their confidence and wellbeing needs through access to information legal support physical activities and welfare checks.
