PACSO supports disabled children and their siblings who are young carers, aged 0-25 across West Sussex, enabling parents to access much needed respite. They had to suspend all playdays and trips, afterschool clubs, toddler groups and family days due to the covid-19 pandemic. As such, they are receiving no parental income, but have continued to deliver services online to families for free including 176 hours of web calls, 129 personal video messages and 50 play packs delivered to families since March. This grant will support the play team for three months, as they plan and deliver a four week virtual playscheme, continue daily support for young people with disabilities, and prepare for relaunch.
