To address this, the CAB will develop 25 new Community Access Points in partnership with ....more Debt crisis contributes to increased mental health problems, food poverty and family breakdown and debt-related enquiries are increasing in North Lancs. To address this, the CAB will develop 25 new Community Access Points in partnership with Morecambe Bay Credit Union. The project will train staff and volunteers at the access points to provide information, advice and access to Credit Union services. The grant will pay for the salary of the project coordinator, publicity costs for the project and appropriate management, admin and overheads. The project will make advice and affordable credit available to thousands of people who have debt problems and do not access services at the moment.
