The initiative aims to improve symptoms of LBP by engaging users in self-management and employers supporting them to stay in work. The project will adopt a for-users-by-users co-production approach directly within workplace settings to deliver and test evidence from Back-on-LineTM app to support LBP self-management. Users conduct self-assessment of their LBP and movement using a smartphone/tablet app, clinical expert classification rules are applied, and the user receives individualised self-management plan with preference-based packages (manage-yourself, manage-in-group, manage-with-physio).

Whilst numerical ....more It is known that inappropriate energy retrofits of traditionally constructed buildings may lead to moisture accumulation within their external envelope (Baker, 2015, STBA, 2017). Whilst numerical modelling can assist in identifying these threats, it is acknowledged that physical testing is still required (Baker, 2015). Research to date has focused on solid masonry construction (Scott and Rye, 2014, Didem Aktas et al., 2015, Gandhi et al., 2012, Baker, 2015). This project will look at the previously under-researched area of the impact of energy retrofits of historic timber-framed buildings, of which approximately 68,000 survive in the UK (Historic England, 2014, RCAHMW, 2014, Historic Environment Scotland, 2016, Gailey, 1984).
