Our project will support the development of effective womens peer support across the North West, helping to improve quality, raise awareness of impact and increase provision.A Strategic Network Coordinator will engage with established networks supporting women facing multiple disadvantage, including; Fulfilling Lives and MEAM networks, county Reducing Reoffending Boards, women's organisation alliances, infrastructure bodies supporting such as the Community Foundation for Cumbria, Lancashire and Merseyside (managing the new Women''s Fund), and specialist infrastructure bodies supporting communities such as BME and LBTQ women. They will gather additional data, impact evidence, best practice and case studies which will be used to develop shared resources (e.g. presentations, best practice tool kits) and help apply a gender lens to existing tools. We will foster networks of practice, extending an invitation to stakeholders identified above to the programme learning and capacity building events, and hosting additional localised/thematic networking groups. We will explore the use of digital tools (e.g Slack) to support sustained access to a network of practice. We will support increased access to peer support, for example by improving the ability of providers of women's peer support to articulate the impact of their provision (e.g. exploring effective outcome measures) and by engaging funders as part of our learning networks. We will plan, promote, coordinate and manage four learning events over the course of the year. These will be held in central locations across the NW, though considering the spread of applicants. We have internal capacity and expertise around event planning and marketing,
