The funding will be used to develop the Women in Third Sector Leadership network across Lincolnshire. £114000 over 3 years will be used to employ a co-ordinator to facilitate the network supported by a women-led steering group. The project will create opportunities for women leaders to come together to share their experiences to learn from mentor and support each other and raise up emerging leaders of the future with the aim of creating a stronger and more resilient third sector and better support for local communities. Activities will occur both virtually and face to face at locations across the county of Lincolnshire and there is a particular aim to include a wide and diverse membership representing all communities.

Local volunteers will help to deliver the project by purchasing a campervan and visiting the most rural areas and delivering activities including board games, craft activities and group activities. The organisation are well connected and work with local councils, schools, children's services, police and a number of local businesses. They have suitable plans for evaluating the project.

This new 3 year project will take place in 3 deprived wards in South Bedfordshire (Tithe Farm, Parkside and Manshead). It aims to increase physical activity levels for hard to reach children aged 0-14, young people and their families. Two activity rangers will be employed to deliver activities along with sessional workers and volunteers aged 15-19. There will be weekly 2.5hour sessions both in term time and out of term time. Activities will take place in the grounds of community centres in the target areas.
