The propose is to set up/run four events (Summer/Halloween/Christmas/Easter) at the DCC in Ladywood for the deaf/wider local Ladywood community, with focus on over 50’s/young adults with additional needs, offering intergenerational opportunities. BID has a long history delivering similar events at the DCC; however, events are dependent upon securing funding from various sources including grants/trust-funding. A successful award through Ladywood NNS would guarantee our ability to host/deliver these key events in the deaf community’s calendar.
