4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The provision of recreational facilities and activities through establishing a workshop and social centre to allow men in South Lanarkshire and surrounding areas to meet and pursue a range of hobbies, pastimes and interests. 4.2 The advancement of education through providing access to informal learning opportunities for men to gain new skills, improve understanding, practice and pass on existing skills to other members. 4.3 The advancement of health through providing a means for men in the area to remain socially and mentally active in order to reduce isolation and maintain/improve their health and wellbeing.
