The organisation's purposes are to advance health and provide recreational facilities or organise recreational activities with the aim of improving the conditions of life for the people for whom the facilities or activities are mainly intended through: a) providing a friendly and welcoming meeting place and activities for individuals in recovery from alcohol or substance misuse, and to set the rules for the smooth operation of these activities. b) developing a recovery community in the borders which is run by those in recovery with the view to developing a peer support network. c) providing information on health and wellbeing to those in recovery in order to promote continue recovery.
