Leisure and social activities will help people gain new friends and experiences, and improve skills and confidence to live more independently. There will also be workshops on issues like relationships, communication and employment. The funding will allow the group to expand reach to Three Rivers, Watford and West Essex.

Activities typically include bowling, going to the cinema or a museum and taking part in group activities with other pairings including hiking. The project also allows parents and carers access to respite time.
