THE NEW HUTTON INSTITUTE

We hold community dances, quizes, games evenings, flower festivals, church activities, money raising for different charities. We also hire out the hall to local groups including the Primary school in the adjoining village, exercise classes, a bowling group, and to groups needing a smaller room for meetings.

A new kitchen was installed in 2019 and a 'foodie night' held where residents could come together and enjoy a meal that was prepared by volunteers. Now that restrictions have been lifted the committee wish to resume the event as it proved popular and will be open to all especially older and isolated residents who have had limited opportunities to socialise during the pandemic.
