TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF LGBTQ+ ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES WHO ARE IN DISTRESS OR VULNERABLE ON THE GROUNDS OF THEIR SEXUALITY, GENDER IDENTITY OR IMMIGRATION STATUS, IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY:A) PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES, ACTIVITIES AND GROUP MEETINGS TO ENABLE LGBTQ+ ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES TO CONNECT WITH OTHERS IN A SAFE ENVIRONMENT;B) PROVIDING REFERRALS TO SPECIALISTS AND PARTNER ORGANISATIONS FOR FINANCIAL, HEALTH AND HOUSING AND LEGAL SUPPORT.2. TO PRESERVE AND PROMOTE PHYSICAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF LGBTQ+ ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF ADVICE, ONE TO ONE COUNSELLING AND SUPPORT.3. THE PROMOTION OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF LGBTQ+ ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES BY:A) THE ELIMINATION OF DISCRIMINATION ON THE GROUNDS OF GENDER IDENTITY, GENDER EXPRESSION AND SEXUAL ORIENTATION;B) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND RAISING AWARENESS IN EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY AND THE NEEDS OF LGBTQ+ ASYLUM SEEKERS AND REFUGEES AND THE ISSUES AFFECTING THEIR LIVES AND THEIR COMMUNITIES;C) PROMOTING ACTIVITIES TO FOSTER UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN PEOPLE FROM DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS; ANDD) CULTIVATING A SENTIMENT IN FAVOUR OF EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY.
