NANTYMOEL BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB AND COMMUNITY CENTRE

The charity, Nantymoel boy's &girl's club, was changed to Nantymoel boy's &girl's club/community center, due to our local welfare hall being demolished. The local council provided a sum of money to refurbish the club and provide resources for the public to use during the daytime hours. It still provides all the facilities of the old charity in that between 4/30 pm & 8pm it is still a B&G Club.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • A significant proportion of recent income was derived from major grant makers including the Government
  • The Board appears to be dynamic in terms of composition

Regulatory & Governance issues to consider:

  • One or more trustees receive benefits from the charity

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Accounts have been filed late on 2 occasions over the last 5 years and the current period appears to have been extended
  • Spending has fallen significantly over the last 5 years relative to the previous period
  • Income has been volatile and on several occasions in recent years less than spending
