JOURNEY TO JUSTICE

Journey to Justice is an alliance of hundreds of volunteers across all age groups, sectors and regions of the country who believe that stories from the past of 'ordinary' people who took action for justice and human rights can inspire us to become active citizens ourselves. We combine history, the arts of protest and teach about the factors which lead to change and work with people of all ages.
Analysis by Giving is Great

Positives:

  • This charity has been very successful in attracting volunteers relative to its size
  • The charity has received modest backing from a grant maker
  • The Board appears to be well diversified in terms of gender

Financial issues to consider:

  • A PartB annual return has not been required and so detailed financial information is not available from the online data
  • Income has been volatile and on several occasions in recent years less than spending
