DARTMOOR ZOOLOGICAL SOCIETY

The aim of the fund is not to ensure that individual zoo operators themselves stay in business. The AuthorityÂs expectation is that businesses, not individuals, will apply for the grant funding.The following establishments are eligible to apply: Premises with a zoo licence under the Zoo Licensing Act 1981,Premises with a section 14 (1a) exemption under the Zoo Licensing Act 1981 where the premises subject to the section 14(1)(a) exemption are also covered by a licence for keeping or training animals for exhibition under LAIA.
