Biodiversity will be enhanced in the main river channel by securing the retention of naturally fallen trees and planting trees to create river corridors and buffers. One full-time post will be created.1. Nature conservation and restorationa. Retain and manage natural woody material in the main river channel for river restoration and biodiversity.b. Regularly survey the river for pollution issues and enhancement, restoration and water quality improvement projects.c. Enhance or buffer 2% of the 22.5 mile riparian corridor with tree planting or natural regeneration.2. Nature based solutionsa.
