This funding will be used to continue development of their outreach work with people with Aphasia in Wakefield and across Yorkshire and the Humber. It will cover key staff posts continuation of their aphasia cafes and app club to support people with aphasia and their carers. The project aims to reduce isolation of people with aphasia raise awareness and understanding and improve the knowledge skills and confidence of carers and volunteers in providing support to those affected.
