This two-year project provided weekly meetings for vulnerable and marginalised people, including refugees, from the Armenian community in Ealing and Hounslow in West London. The meetings included opportunities for the participants to speak openly, share experiences and anxieties, and learn about mental health. Activities and content were proposed by participants, based on ideas and issues identified in sessions. The intention of the scheme was for participants to make friends, reduce isolation, develop confidence and self-esteem, provide peer support and gain access to support services.
