Objectives

3. The Organisation is established : 3.1 To promote and develop services for older people in any manner which now or hereafter may be deemed by law to be charitable in and round West Sussex or such other areas as the trustees shall determine from time to time (for the avoidance of doubt this shall include the areas of Portslade, Brighton and Hove) (hereinafter called “the area of benefit”)3.2 To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation, community participation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have use of such facilities by reason of their age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving conditions of life in the community at large.
