The expected outcomes are the following: 1) 30 BME women reached and engaged in the activities of the project which will help them to increase their information and knowledge of local/regional opportunities for economic and social inclusion. We have expert support from our local enterprise agency the North east BIC. 2) 15 BME women aged over 40 will gain and improve their knowledge and skills to use computers - Now IT literacy is a basic employability and life skill, our project will help participants to understand social media, create CV's and bring about overall awareness of social media this will help to build skills, confidence and social networks which will impact on reducing long term social isolation and feeling of exclusion which will also help to improve their health and well-being. 3) 80 Local BME women from the diverse communities will participate in our 2 community network seminars along with 10 different service providers such as health services, employment services and voluntary services coming together to look at BME women issues and the barriers they face in enagement and participation.
