It also provides greater staffing capacity and ....more The funding will develop and expand on the work of Flourish Together CIC to support women from disadvantaged communities to develop social ventures. It also provides greater staffing capacity and organisational development to build sustainability. Flourish Together (FT) began as a pilot in 2012-2016 via the Women Supporting Social Entrepreneurs Network and became a CIC in 2016. They support social entrepreneurs through a series of peer learning opportunities crowd-funding mentoring intensive training and leadership development alongside research policy and consultancy work. Their profits are reinvested in supporting women to overcome disadvantage and lack of opportunity by helping them to realise their potential and developing economic independence through developing social and ethical ventures. They have built a network of 600 women the majority of which are challenged by financial equality and social factors.
