    1 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: (a) the advancement of environmental protection or improvement Specifically: (i) the promotion and protection of biodiversity and green spaces (ii) the sustainable management of resources and responsible consumption such as encouraging the reuse, repurposing of items and the reduction of carbon emissions (iii) to promote sustainable travel (iv) the promotion of energy saving measures and the use of renewable energy (v) engaging with government to influence the development of net zero plans (b) the advancement of community development Specifically, (i) encouraging and supporting public engagement in the planning and development of our projects plans for the local area (ii) building and developing connections between community groups, public, private and voluntary sector organisations (iii) developing community skills (iv) enhancing and developing public areas and open spaces consistent with achieving our purposes The area of benefit is the Gryffe Valley Area which includes Houston, Crosslee, Bridge of Weir, Kilmacolm, Linwood and surrounding areas, and where geographically consistent with the aims of the organisation, beyond.
