    The charitable purposes are those set out in the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 s 7(2) of which in furtherance of the Trust purposes, the Trustees shall exercise their discretion principally in favour of such organisations as shall fulfill the following purposes, namely:-. I. The prevention of relief of poverty. II. The advancement of health (including the prevention or relief of sickness, disease or human suffering). III. The saving of lives. IV. The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or disadvantage. and V. The advancement of animal welfare.
