    4 The organisation?s purposes are: 4.1 TAWAS will work in partnership with all local and national groups, statutory bodies and relevant stakeholders to engage members of the diverse communities, in particular the diverse ethnic minority women and young people in creative arts, dance, music and health & wellbeing therapy initiatives. Through the catalyst of Arts and Dance TAWAS will be able to promote greater integration, advance community cohesion and create pathways to active citizenship for members of the diverse ethnic minority and cultural Community in Scotland. promoting equality and diversity through celebrating cultural heritage and community cohesion via culture. 4.2 The advancement of the arts, heritage, and culture, through promoting and delivering educational and learning activities on health and wellbeing through dance that celebrate diverse cultures. through organizing and delivering exhibitions and festivals, musical and otherwise. through the creation of Dance and Art for all ages. 4.3 The advancement of citizenship or community development through organizing and delivering community, local events, exhibitions and festivals aimed at creating and strengthening community ties, contributing to the broader cultural landscape.
