    Objectives

    4 The organisation's purpose is to teach children where their food comes from and empowering them to make better choices about the food they eat through a. direct participation in activities such as, but not limited to: i. growing, processing, and milling grains, ii. operating a student-managed microbakery in school to bake bread and baked goods daily for student consumption, iii. coordinating school-gate bread stalls, run by the students, to raise funds for ingredients, equipment, and infrastructure b. making decisions about how Breaducation in each school develops, for example, what kind of ovens and grain processing equipment students may wish to source or build c. collaboration with farmers, millers, academics, special interest groups, and policy makers to establish local grain and produce growing to supply schools d. expansion of Breaducation activities over time into the sourcing and preparation of other foods made from fresh, predominantly local, ingredients to accompany bread and baked goods made by students e. development and delivery of education, training, support to schools, and development of associated resources and f. promotion of these activities to communities of interest, educational establishments, etc.
