Objectives

oThe advancement, development and improvement of resilience, mental and physical wellbeing for emergency services (including retired), community responders and voluntary organisations that are prone to traumatic exposure during the course of their duties. This extends to their families and friends who, as confidants and dependents, may also be affected. To effect this, the organisation will undertake the following activities: oTo create a ripple effect of change and normalise conversations surrounding mental health, breaking the Stigma barrier. oBy providing access to a wide range of resources and opportunity to attend various relaxation, physical and mental wellbeing activities. oProvide an inclusive opportunity with expert instruction through qualified guides/instructors (where applicable) no matter of financial position, fitness level or experience. oProvide a safe space at an appropriate venue with which to host these activities and offer the opportunity to create Peer Support opportunities and build relationships. oDevelop collaborations with relevant partners to provide exhibition stalls at each event showcase the professional psychological and physical support offerings, education, and signposting.
