    Objectives

    The objects of the society shall be to carry on business for the benefit of the community at large, through furthering, within Macduff (which comprises the postcodes beginning AB44 and AB45) (the Community), the following charitable purposes: 2.1 The advancement of community development (including urban regeneration. 2.2 The relief of financial hardship among people living or working in the community 2.3 The promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit by preventing people from becoming socially excluded, relieving the needs of those people who are socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into society 2.4 The protection and preservation of the environment to the public benefit, particularly through promotion of waste reduction, reuse and recycling. 2.5 The development of a stronger community by working with local authorities, agencies, groups and individuals to provide education and support for build community capacity for social inclusion & adhesion But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
